Jubilee Exhibition

Amelander Kunstenaars celebrating 15 Years  I am pleased to announce that I will be joining eighteen fellow island artists for a new group art show celebrating 15 years of Amelander Kunstenaars. The exhibition will take place from June 3 to October 15 at the Amelander Cultuurmuseum in Nes:  amelanderkunstenaars.nl/15jaar This year, I will be showcasing two of my paintings from 2022, titled " House Verwolde " from the series Downstairs and " Amelander Interior ", along with many other artworks and pieces from the museum's permanent collection.   Additionally, every Friday, there will be intimate live music afternoons organised by my friend and wonderful musician Kees Poulus. I’m also excited to share that I will be painting live at the museum every Thursday. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Rooftops of Hollum. Winter

Back to the old series   In the winter, when trees are bare, there is a charming, intimate view of the village from the back door of the Museum Sorgdrager in Hollum. From this vantage point, you can clearly see the belltower of the Magnus Church, which is the oldest and largest church on the island, situated behind the historic houses of Oosterlaan...   Rooftops of Hollum. Winter . Oil on canvas, 50 x 60 cm. View the finished piece in my  gallery .   Exhibitions:

3-Day Expo at Stalhuus

Fifth Edition In five weeks, our 3-Day Expo will take place once again. This year marks the fifth edition of the event, which will be traditionally held at the beautiful Stalhuus in Hollum on the island of Ameland.  We are excited to showcase a great variety of stunning ceramic art by Wybe Jansma , alongside many of my studies and paintings. Additionally, on Friday and Sunday, there will be amazing live music performances by Anne-Meta Kobes and Kees Poulus, making this event cosier than ever before.  Mark your calendars and feel welcome to join us at the Stalhuus from 19 to June 21. You can also visit  valta.nl/expo  to see what to expect (and it's a lot!).
